What we’ve done through the practices that I offered in The Everyday Sanyasin, is we’ve begun to observe and see how these things form together and actually get in our way. And we used various techniques of breath, color, and imagery to begin to release us from the pattern, to release us from the entrapment.

Then in The Living Bardo series, we started off with Deity Yoga. We began to play in Deity Yoga with this wonderful, wonderful thing, which is absorbing and amplifying the Divine Qualities of manifestation that we want to live in our lives. We’ve been experiencing this and going, “Wow, this is so cool.” You know, the great example we have of this, because you’ve been so willing to do this, Bill, is the blue-green flames which offered you a sense of nurturance, ease of being, and peace amidst the dramatic, massive change that is the quality of Shiva.

To quickly summarize, we have worked at becoming aware of what we do on a ‘right-now’ basis. Then we’ve developed practiceslike breathing and creating new visualizations and chantingthat have allowed us to begin to not be bound to what we thought before was ‘objective’ reality, what we thought before was the binding nature of our fate. Then, as we got into The Living Bardo, we began to play with absorbing and amplifying qualities within ourselves and creatingliterally creatinga new objective reality in our lives. A reality, like we were saying earlier, in which I’m a good person. Manifesting in such a way that what I’m manifesting brings a smile to my face, and that smile radiates a goodness that everybody around me can feel. The example of this was that people will just come up to you and say, “Hi, I don’t know you, but it really feels good being around you.”

Borderline Schizophrenics and Paranoid People - Comments Off

In psychology classes in colleges across America, they discuss the issues of paranoia and schizophrenics. Such anomalies are fun to study and generally they are studied as brain disorders. But there are some very interesting facts about these folks, which often do not consider. First many borderline schizophrenics are off the chart on the side of intelligence, as well as their similar paranoid anomalies.

I have met some paranoid people in my day and many schizophrenics; they are interesting anomalies actually. Sometimes we are annoyed by paranoid people, yet often intelligence agencies do not try to stay away from them and would rather recruit them if you need something done. Not all schizophrenics are bad, some are quite pleasant and one in 100 people are said to suffer from some from of schizophrenia.

For those who are annoyed by these folks, you should not let others bother you so much really. If you find yourself bothered by paranoid people and you wish they would leave you alone. You might simply tell them:

“Just because you are paranoid does not mean they are not after you?”

See what they say then, as you might find them letting down their guard and thus break the ice and find it much easier to deal with them as if they were normal folks, just like you or I. So, consider this in 2006.
