New Charity Poker Tournament Aims to End Cerebral Palsy - Comments Off
Hollywood celebrities, poker pros, and online players looking to help out in a live event will be joining forces for a great cause at the “All in for CP” celebrity charity no-limit hold’em poker tournament on August 3rd.
The tournament will be held at the Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, California, and money raised at the tournament will benefit the One Step Closer Foundation. That group is a non-profit organization founded to end children’s suffering from Cerebral Palsy and research the condition.
Scheduled tourney attendees include 2006 WSOP Main Event Champion Jamie Gold, comedians Colin Quinn and Norm MacDonald , WSOP bracelet winner Jennifer Tilly, BMX stunt rider Dennis McCoy ,Oscar winner Ben Affleck, Emmy winner Sam Simon, talk show host Montel Williams, musician Jerry Cantrell, and former Playboy Miss February 1999 Stacy Fuson.
As mentioned earlier this tournament is open to celebs and amateurs alike, live or online, and those wishing to play who aren’t named Affleck or otherwise can preregister at allinforcp.com or register in person on the day of the event.
